was jw how similar (if any at all?) the upper mounts are between a 2.4TC and an ecotec 2.2...
id like to buy an ecotec rk sport upper mount and use it on my 2.4
so......is it posible?

im not sure which way the mounts are , but 1 sits up higher than the other 1 does , the bolt spacing is right on
the 2 are totally different

the Eco is a total replacement i think
the 2.4 upper mount is an insert.
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
yeah i know- i have the 2.4 insert-was just looking for a neater looking peice, as well as a total replacement

The Z mount sits higher than the eco. I did the Z mount in my car like a few other people before the RK one came out. The passenger side of my engine was probably about half a inch or so higher than stock and the intake rubbed my hood. That sure was a waste of $125 lol
As for your question yes you can use a ecotec mount on a 2.4 motor.

Yes the monut will work, bolts right up. Its just that your engine will be sitting at a angle. The passenger side will be lower than the rest
ok then, i have a guy that can make pretty much anything out of billet aluminum...
would there be a way to maybe put some sort of a spacer somewhere?
or would it haveto be steel? either way, would that be posible?

Yeah you could definately have spacer made. Just not sure if the bolts on the frame are long enough.
