J-Body Performance can flash OBD2 pcm's as well. Don't ask me how, I don't know. But apparently it IS possible.

I know how they are doing it
Basically the same way RSM does it, and the same way GM does it... they went out and paid for a Tech-II

Shifted- Can you tell me what is the diff in OBDII with and without CAN protocall?? In laymans terms. Thanks Greg
Sure
CAN and VPW are the protocol that the car uses to talk. If you connect up to a CAN car with a VPW device, it would be like trying to speak english to a guy who speaks chinese, both resulting in a
face...
OBD-II is an emissions standard that the car is designed to meet. From there, there are up to 4 different types of communications protocols that the ECU and other devices can use to talk (VPW, CAN, KWP, and PWM).
VPW and now KWP and CAN are in GM products (Delphi)
PWM is a ford and some european cars thing
CAN is in the dodge / chrystler cars
Basically, VPW, CAN, KWP, and PWM are the way the devices talk on the car's internal network (think computer network). OBD-II is a design standard set by the EPA, and the design specification is developed by SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers).
