CraneCams Ecotec Ignition?
Monday, May 02, 2005 11:15 PM
In the April issue of Performance Audio & Sound they had a 2004 Saturn Ion with the Ecotec in it running a Crane ignition (His name is Keith Losier, MAD props to him), His Crane ignition controls the timing (among other things) on the Crane Camshafts he has installed. Has anyone heard about a setup with this from Crane? Or can you manipulate an existing Crane ignition to fit the Eco? I have the Crane stage 1 Cams about 3 feet away from me sitting on the floor, I just want boost also and need the timing right where I want it. Thanks in advance.

crane does make an ignition box similar to the msd so I could see something like that being done

that crane ignition cost around $960 Canadian i was going to get one because msd is not making the dis 2 until there is a lot of demand for it.
you can also get a timing retard for it
