I would like to install a P-Flow (tubing + air filter) but there is a kind of airbox just between the Throttle Body and the OEM tubing so me I would like to take off this airbox and fit the P-flow tubing directly on the Throttle Body so is there any P-Flow that would fit correctly for this application??

wtf is p-flow, all searches i came up with had nothing to do with cars, if its like any other intake yes it should connect to the tb

well from where I come whatever is the intake we call this a P-Flow event if it's not right... it's only a brand name I suppose but anyway this is not the problem the problem is that usually it's true that we connect the intake directly on the throttle body but in my case on a 2.4L there is an airbox connected directly on the throttle body and after the airbox there is a tubing going to another airbow where is the airfilter.... well those with the 2.4L probably know of what I'm talking about
the intakes made for the 2.4L are too short for my applications because me I want to take off the airbox ( the one connected on the TB) and connect the intake directly on the TB .. so 2.4 guys let me know what you think about it.. please
aem , injen , rsm , just to nam ea few all connect at the tb , you have to remove the box on the tb for them

he 666boost666 you come from Québec?? Many folks here talk about car and dont know a jack about it. they often mix up french word and expression with english terms so that kind of word persist. p-flow dose not mean anything. call it by it's name it's an intake.
Indeed I am from quebec :$ ... it's not that we don't know the right words to say things but it is because often we use english words and some just don't understand of what we're talking about... but we persist to say english words because we hate to say french words when we're talking about cars since for example a crankshaft in french is a "vilebrequin" and it suc*s !
and almost nobody even know how to say some car parts in french as camshaft ,connecting rod and all these terms so we tell them in english since in french we don't know how to say it and even if we open up a dictionary and look up the french word we won't say it in french because nobody will know of what we're talking about
and sorry for my english .. since I don't speak english everyday there are surely some mistakes but I'll do my best !
I knew that intake was the word I wrote "P-flow " because I'm used to use this word ;P
and there's another think I would like to know what is the bore recommended for 2.4
because I read that some say : don't go over 59mm but others seems to say that 62 is okay so who should I believe?
59 mm tb's are usually that size , some 62mm tb's arent a true 62mm at the throttle blade
and considering most of us here type and read and speak english , sometimes it helps a little if you did the same , lol

P-flow is a Neuspeed short-ram intake for VW's. Actually its hardly even that, its just a filter and heatshield that attach to the MAF and use stock tubing from there to the turbo or TB. And they charge like $150 for this....
But anyway, don't waste your money with a short ram intake like that. Most times, the same, if not more benefit can be had by modifying your stock airbox and running duct from the grill to the stock box. Even the stock airfilter is very rarely a restriction, just the packaging they put it in.

I hope no one gets bent out of shape that I'm linking you over to VW forum, but this information is universal to all cars, i just can't find any other good pics to describe what i'm talking about. Note that this guy also took MAF readings with each setup and the modified stock box with ram hose only read one gram per second less airflow than the CAI. Meanwhile the modded stock box with an ITG foam filter whooped the crap out of the CAI in airflow. Not bad for less than $80 in parts. Plus, if you can hide the ram hose, you get performance gain and a much more stock looking engine bay for that sleeper effect.
