I have searched around a bit and it seems people who run a 75 or close to shot on the ecotec get 14.2s-14.4s. Is it possible to hit a 14.9 on a 55 shot with a intake and catback? Assuming that I am a decent driver and nothing exceptional.
14's with a 50 shot is entirely do-able. a 75 shot, with perfect or almost perfect driving can squeek out a high 13. Rich (exterminator) ran a 13.8 on a 75 shot with a full interior, spare tire, etc. Timing was retarded 2 degress via emanage. 50 shot, once you get used to it, will probably be 14.2-14.5 depending on your driving skill.

I honestly believe that with the right mods, the ECOTEC can hit 14s N/A. I have seen a few come close (one was all stock except for a short shifter---ran a 15.3) Take EVERYTHING out of the trunk and think about gettin rid of the backseat and maybe even passenger seat.
EDIT: I didn't look at your registry---you have an auto sedan. You will definitely need nitrous to come close.
