why are you gonna relocate it? and where are you gonna move it to?

dont move it, leave it in the intake tube where it belongs. u wont gain anything by moving it.

i have a k&N cold air intake and i herd if u move it down the tube so it reads a cooler air temp then it will give u better performance

no it wont. its a scam. all it does is make your car burn more gas. and can actually damage your engine. so dont do it

moving down the tube...air travels pretty quick, so unless your tube is massively cooler on one end and the other end is touching the metal, it wouldnt really be worth a gain.

theres maybe 2-3 feet of pipe on a short ram.

also the iat tells the car to use more or less gas. tricking the computer to throw in more gas when you dont have the dense air to match the amount of gas thrown in, basically the volume of air doesnt match the gas, hence wasting gas.

what exactly are you workin with? car wise?

if you want to relocate the IAT, put it closer to the TB or even in the manifold like the 2.3.

the better reading, the better the engine will be.
