Ok well i am getting Engine mounts but from what i hear peoples interior rattles allot and they said its because the lower mount is to stiff... And i just heard about these Mark Pain Bushings you can get that soften it up a bit.. does any one know where i can get these?
And also if you have engine mounts right now how is it for the interior rattling ?

i have a mark pain for sale but i belive my buddy wants it, if he does not then it is yours.
if the bushings are softer, there's no point to a solid mount. it's not that bad of a vibration, just get used to it and i swear you'll love it. as soon as i did both of mine, i instantly loved the feeling. it's not really annoying at all. if you're going to make a car loud, you and your passengers have to deal with it. if you're going to add subs, you have to deal with noise and vibration. if you want to add power, you have to deal with @!#$ty gas mileage and sometimes lack of reliability. mod a car and deal with consequences, it's not like the car vibrates itself apart.
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
get teh lightened crank pulley and you notice it less
just be wary of using a/c
Will the pulley do any thing since i have the GM supercharger?
Spotabee Racing - Yea i know what you mean... i think they are just a bit softer then the solid ones.... don't know just heard about them tonight. But i am guessing you have Engine mounts since you said you like the feel of them... how big of a difference do they make? and what kind of feel does it give? I figured i would need them since i have the s/c and other things and i plan on eventually putting the 2.5" pulley on and getting around 9psi... and even though my RK sport header has a flex piece, i don't know how well it would hold up with how much the engine moves around already.
Phlatcav - Sounds good.. did you like them? also do they just push right into where the solid ones would be on the RK sport mount? were they still to soft? And also if your buddy ends up not wanting them how much would you want?

Yea just learned that too... hummm do you think it would be worth it? like do you think they would be too soft? (if i got them from some one)

pulley should help you rev faster i.e. build boost faster
but you want a stock sized w/ the sc
humm i might just leave it... since i do like to have the A/C at times in the summer and i am driving down to California this summer so it might be nice to have it there.... I might see what a lighter flywheel will do for me though.

My girl Erin is swapin the RSM one in soon so I will let you know if I swap it out this weekend you can get it from me for cheap.
Why doesn't Mark make them anymore? Did anyone have problems with them?
I have both upper and lower mounts--They realy make the steering wheel buzz at idle and low speeds. I would think its the upper that makes it so stiff not the lower. I might put the stock upper bach in. and change the tranny mounts.
The top is not what makes it sriff! The bottom is metal and has way less movement, but I don't know but I would say like 60% bottome like 40% for top with both mounts in that add the stiffness. I'm just guessin' on this. Someone you don't have to prove me right or wrong.

i heard that the material he used for the bushings dont last very long. couple of friends actually had the bushings on there lower mount. now its not there any more
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
the new lower mount that prothane is makeing is = to the bushings that mark used
its the old black rk mount with red bushings that was very stiff

hummm has this happened to every one? i think i would go insane things start to rattle and buzz....
When i first put my upper and lower mount in, the vibration was almost NONE, but a couple months after, i notice vibrations and sounds here and there, but overall its not too bad. Trust me you get used to it and won't care after a while.
hummm well i i guess if it starts to rattle i am going to rip apart the dash and just tighten every thing right down... and add a few more screws to tighten every thing up... even some weather striping to act as a pad... i think i know what will rattle any way... i am guessing it will be the plastic thing that goes along the bottom of the front window...
So Prothane ones would be the choice? I have seen a Prothane box with a set of Engine/Trans/A-arms poly bushings for something like $130 bucks, but I am still looking the link.
