What year is your ride? And did it all work even though the intake hit the hood?

I had issues with the 01 2200 Dragon intake not clearing most tower braces and I also had issues with them NOT shipping a filter I ordered.

OK, I guess I am not the only one who does't like the WeaponR intake... Any suggestions on a different brand of short ram intake?

In about a year and a half my dragon filter was so craked it shattered when I took it apart to clean. I've now got a K&N filter on it.

Have a weapon header on my 2004 Sunfire Fits real close but doesnt hit . It was a real job to get it under the hood but works well. Plus its stainless--NO RUST!! Put together a 21/2" down pipe and catco 21/2" converter. the rest of the system is 21/4" . I used the 21/2" because i had a 21/2" cat laying around.
One thing it sure got a lot louder after the change to 21/2 front section!!!!! I run a 14 glass pack res and Hooker aero chamber muff.

I ordered a weapon r intake for the 04'. Didn't come with the right couplers, filter looked cheap, universal mounting bracket. Returned that and GOT an AEM.

I had a little clearance problem with my dragon intake, but I got it to where it doesn't hit anymore. I just cut about a 1/8 of an inch off of the coupler that goes to the throttle body, and haven't had any problems since then. Otherwise I like the intake.

Weapon-r is a decent company. I personally have the Dragon Intake and their ECOTEC 4-2-1 Header and have not had any problems with either products. As far as peoples intakes hitting...sometimes that happends with intake in general but it's a simple fix.

Some people order products from Ebay and they get the wrong stuff and say that it's straight from weapon-r and they get screwed over so don't get caught up with that. If you need weapon-r products you can check out my sponsors site www.definedparts.com
He lists decent prices so you can check them out.

That's just my 2 cents...

i run both the header and the intake on my 03, and no problems to think of, although my header is a nice purply color LOL, and the pipe to the cat got cutoff for a 2.5" one.

i have the weapon r dragon intake, on my 98' 2.4L, it sounds sooo good, and looks quite nice, fits with tons of clearnce all the way around, it, i think has the nicest looking filter, get em on ebay for relatively cheap, but yeah, heavily recommend their intakes
