okay i'm looking to put a header on my 97 Z24. I just wanted to know what brand you guys suggest and if you have had any problems with the install or the header breaking. Could I possible install it myself. is a motor mount absolutely necessary?

pacesetter ceramic coated is what i have. i like it.
you can install it yourself if you have the right tools. wrenches possibly some way of getting underneath your car.
and for less than $75, motor mounts are cheap insurnace for your header

where did you buy your header and motor mounts? did you install it yourself? Is the header loud? My intake and exhaust are pretty loud and i don't know if i want anything else to make it louder.

look in the GP there is/was pacesetter header buy there. and yes you can install it yourself. if i can. anyone can. it is alot louder (i think) just makes people look

about as fast has you can take off the old and put on the new. a couple hours. me it took longer. and i had the whole car up in the air. and could walk under it. and i just took my time.
