I used a dremel tool with a polishing wheel and some mothers mag and wheel polish. It took a heck of alot of elbow grease and time, looks great though. Have fun.

the the 95 2.2s come with a different valve cover because mine is black.
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
i just used some engine degreaser then then used mothers mag polish. took a while and my hands/fingers hurt afterwards, but it turned out good.
i was using the rubbing compound with a 10" buffer but it dosent work very good.. i dont think that the mag polish would do any better prob worse because the cover is not rdy for polish yet i need to get it all flat and kinda smooth at least first.. what should i use to do that??

Sand paper.
The last few VC i have polished, you need to sand them down first in order to Paint or polish them.
I would use a med grit sand paper, and a med bristle 2.25" wire brush head on my drill. smooth it down, then repeat with fine, and Ultra fine. Then wipe clean all the dust, them polish with a Polishing compound. Then clearcoat it. it will last much longer that way.

Dude i just did this the other day and it looks awesome. Get 400, 600, 1000,1200 wet sanding paper and start from 400 and work your way to 1200 like said b4 there are some inperfections i just used 150 grit for those and then just went to 400 and it fixed that. And then i used Blue Magic polishing compound and after all that it only took like an hour and a half to do it was real easy and looks great if you want a picture IM me at sugarcult353 or just leave a message on here
I'd like to see how it turned out, thanks

ok thanks dude ill get on that
Dude, did mine with some 1200 griut sandpapaer and some dawn dishsoap.. the soap helps so you dont get dust all over and you need to wash it anyways when your done ..but after you sand it using whatever grit you need to get out the imperfections just go to the next finer grit paper untill its pretty smooth then use a scotch brite pad and finally polish to a shine with mothers and a dremel ,or you can do it by hand also..then wash and rinse it one more time...dry it totally , and apply clearcoat to finished product...
if its all done right it will look like a mirror shine...Im about to do my rockford amp body had it done to the last one before it got ripped off....looks frickin awesome too...
hope this helps..
Later, Dave
