i bought this complete motor from my dad's friend of a malibu.. its a 2.4 i wanna kno how hard it is to port my heads by my self?with out paying alot!! or is it jus cheaper to take it in?
It's really not THAT hard, but if you port out the combustion chambers they need to be exact for the most part. But just opening up the ports isn't really that bad, especially if you just get rid of the sharp edges.
wat kinda tool can i use? and i can do this of by hand not special tool??
if you have a Dremel you should buy the flex shaft attachment. But try to find some info on where to port and how to do it. otherwisw you could kill performance more than you think.
how do i kno how much to shave off?
