i want to get a dual tip muffler for my sunfire, i dont want the ones where the tips point up , i have looked a vibrant 3A raceing and Magnaflow. i hear vibrant has a bad sound to it like a Weedwacker idk if its true. 3A raceing idk nothing about and Magnaflow is really good but alot of money for one that i like. i tryed ebay and there was a few on there i liked but never got them. im going to be geting a high flow cat from gravana then from there 2.25 pipe cat back with a muffler when i find one. my cars a auto so idk how it will sound im going to a deep sound thats not crazy like the prelude i heard go by me on the highway today sounded like crap.

well, you have two options, get an ebay one that won't last for @!#$, or shell out a messly 100 bucks for a quality muffler, and you can do all you want with 2.25 pipe, from cat back, but you still have a 1 7/8" i/d downpipe, so your performance gain will be minimal....

sorry for typeing like that. but i dont know whatt brand to go with or whats a good brand. yea ill go over 100 thats nothing much but 300 for a muffler i wont do. im not looking for much performance gain just to give the car a nicer sound a little more hp would be nice. but the muffler on the car now the clamp broke and its sideways so im just going to change everything ,

get a header and a 2.25" custom catback made, with perhaps a 3A Racing muffler with a 2.25" inlet.

I like the way magnaflow mufflers sound. Thats what I have. Now this is all you have to do.
1)Get a local shop to bend you some pipe (2.25) and put in a resonator(spelling?).
2)Get a magnaflow from ebay

3)Get your cat from gravana
4)Then just buy yourself a pacesetter header.
Then you'll be all good.

let me offer you some advice though. install the header and b pipe FIRST!!! then have the cat installed and your catback made same day.
