Ill have the 2200 install up soon

In testing i DID find significant reduction in IAT temps, and the butt dyno felt it too

$315 for that little peak HP gain? The K&N looks like a better deal.

the k&n cost more than the aem

i would take the AEM intake any day. all i ever see from K&N is gains that no one would ever see on their stock 4 bangers. the commercials say up to 26hp but they don't say that it is on a big old V8 probably heavily modified. i have the AEM CAI and the gains were very noticible. i even raced cars before and after the install and beat some that use to beat me.

Does AEM have a WAI out now for the ecotec? I keep seeing it but nobody has prices yet. I would like to see a dyno sheet for it.

I know they had one ... they might have got rid of it, since the developed the CAI. Just go to the local shop or call aem ... and ask them for a "short ram intake" which is basically the WAI.

$315 for the AEM

$204 for the K&N.

You do the math.

eco intake $189

just like the k&n
even comes w/ k&n filter which is preoiled

Yeah for the money I would rather have the K&N as it is not half plastic like the RK sport, better to have one solid peice.

Re: AEM True CAI

i don't think it would make that much of a difference

You could get a few couplers and aluminum bends for WAY less than that and have fun making one... JMO
