I am going to swap my 2200 for a new eco. Does the Ecotec engine fit into my 2000 cavy? Will I have to modify anything? Any info will be help full. THX.

it'll fit. at the very least, you will need transaxle, pcm and wiring harness, mounts, and a complete long block with all accessories.
