can i use a quality glasspack style muffler as a resonator?

heres a e-bay link to what i been thinking on going with

i want the longest resonator i can find and fit where the oem resonator was

Yes, but DO NOT get that one. That is a louverd core glasspack, very very bad for performance. Go on to summit and look at the thrush glasspacks, they have a perforated core, which is just like a straight through muffler, and will quiet the sound quite a bit.

Just order a Magnapack from Magnaflow . That is what I got ( but with a 3" in/out ) .



I am not sure what lengths they carry for smaller diameter pipe but mine measure 31" long .

would this take the raspy high pitch out of my pacesetter cat-back? or should I get a resonator from Vibrant Performance?

seriously, get it from www.justmagnaflow.com. i got my 26" resonator for about 40 dollars.
