As the title states, is the H.O. intake manifold really worth all the trouble? what kind of 1/4mile differences were seen from the HO swap? Just asking b/c i bought one thats been drilled for a direct port nitrous injection, it already has the flange welded, and i have a 62MM throttle body for it.

i saw its marginal for n/a
id like to see dyno results.
l just installed mine saturday, it looks alot better under the hood and I can tell a difference in the mid to upper rpms. it also sounds pretty good too. right now I am waiting on my 62mm throttle body to get here, so with a stock 2.4 tb the manifold does give you a little gain in power.

How about from 95 Quad 4 manifold to HO, worth it?

Worth it because:
As a mod , the part is cheap to buy
Not too terribily difficult to install
You'll lget a deeper sound under the hood and over all if your exhaust is modded.
There are gains/losses but again all relative.
It looks decent under the hood.
Excellent for boost applications.
And most important, if you don't like it: going back to stock isn't a problem.
So it's worth it.
Not worth it because:
May loose a little low end.
Part can cost a lot if you go retail
Getting a perfect port matching can be annoying. (although there are flanges out there)
Really benifits from boost applications
After everything you may end up going back to stock.
So not worth it.
For me, I got mine cheap, I wanted a deeper sound, and I like ethe looks.
So worth it.
