what else can i do to my engine? i have a header and a intake but i wanted to know what else i could do that wont cost 1000+

JB weld 1,000 bottle rockets to the hood.

or buy a junk engine to rebuild over time. bore the block, balence the rotating assy. with forged rods and high or low compression pistons, get a cam(s) ground, port/polish the head, possibly oversized valves.... the list goes on and on. it's impossible to do it all with 1 G. do some here and there, then swap and be done.
