what are good cams for ecotecs that aren't too expensive
I installed some stage I crane cams from howell automotive. They arent too expensive. I'm happy with the results. They are mild, but the more aggressive ones are having trouble in some people's cars. I recommend them.
$450
Its not too high, all the other companies sell their cams for like $100 more and higher. Again, this is only a stage I though
JBP stage 2 cams are very nice paid $540 i believe for them and as long you dont let the car idle for a long time you shouldnt see the CEL and great gains
04 sunfire auto, mid 15's n/a, and still going
I ordered a set of stage 1 Crane Cams almost 2 months ago from Howell. They told me here recently that crane had no cores for the grind so Howell had to send Crane cores, then grind, then ship(Which was some what exceptable..ahhgg...).I'm still waiting for mine, very patiently til 2 months hits. Then I will start to get a lil pissed.
any dyno #'s from these cams?
