upper and lower mounts, which causes more vibes?

I've been searching for a while, and it seems that there are some people who think the upper causes all the vibes, and some who blame it on the lower. So which one is it? Is it a matter of what car you have (sedan or coupe) or what?

ive always had the lower before the upper

and its not really noticible , untill you use both

people will argue this subject to death

but i say each car is different , and try it either and go with what feels best you

On my 2200, the upper made the most vibes. At the moment I have just the lower in, and I can still feel the engine rock, and with no abnormal vibes . With the upper mount in, it was rock solid, and you could definitley feel the vibes.

i installed lower first, didn't vibrate too bad. it got really noticeable once i installed the upper. however i've noticed that the combo seems to cause "worse" vibration with an automatic tranny instead of manual. but as far as which makes the vibrations worse, it is mostly once they are paired together.
