The rocker arm studs that snapped were made by a company named pioneer america or something like that. I switched to the ARP studs haven't had a problem since. I then bought the comp cams cool nuts to lock the rocker arms into place and had fitment problems with the valve cover. I'm not sure if this was the cause of the snapped push rod but no damage to my rocker arm at all. Any ideas as to why the push rod snapped?

Thanks in advance

well did the pushrod break after you replaced the studs and ran it?

If so then the pushrod probably got bent when the stud broke, and then its just a matter of time till it breaks, plus the stock pushrods are pretty prone to flex anyways, so it could be just age that cuased it.
