I am considering purchasing this intake in a couple of weeks. i was wondering if any one has one on there 2200 and what they thought about its perfomance. thanks in advance for any comments.
and yes i searched. could not find anything about vibrante.
P.S. i was the blue one. so nice

Theres also RKSport and Weapon R. I think for the 2200 they charge a little much for the intake thats plastic. But the weapon R is a good product. They have both the dragon intake and the Secret Weapon one. If your intrested in any of those two shoot me an email or hit me up in Aim.
i know about the other intakes. but i was impressed with there exhaust, and thought i would try the intake

i have the vibrant intake and i like it. it has the nice sound and it gives better acc. and little pickup. just to let you know it keeps the box that says 2200 on there. i know some guys dont like it.
there is an article in hot compacts and imports this month on the intake and a step by step installation guide. might wanna check it out
here comes the boost!
i will deffinatly check it out the magazine. as for the box can't you buy an adapter to connect the intake to the throttle body. like a silicone sleeve. (don't know if that is exactly what it is called)?

Nothing wrong with the Vibrant short-ram. I've had a total of three intakes on my Cav, the one by Vibrant was by far the cheapest. Despite this, it performs about the same as the other two more expensive intakes that I've previously owned.
An intake is essentially a pipe with a big filter on the end. Companies like AEM and K&N will give you all sorts of reasons why theirs is the best. At the end of the day, everyone is pretty much playing on the same field with regards to performance.
If you want to connect it directly to the throttle body, you'll have to bust out with a rubber elbow or some silicone connectors. Vibrant sells those too

Heh, sorry for the delayed response. I didn't revisit this post until now.
1st intake - Sold to a friend because I decided that I wanted a different color.
2nd intake - Stolen from my car, along with my stereo & other misc. crap.
3rd intake - Still on my car (knocks on wood).

I have a vibrant intake and if I had to do it all over again I would purchase an intake that goes ryt to my t/b.
i'd say go for the rdffabs intake, it gets rid of the 2200 box, and is only 90 bucks for the WAI to me that is the best deal AND GETS RID OF THE 2200 BOX!
