HP+'s for aftermarket Products?

Alright.. Now when you add something on a car obvioulsy it will make the performance aspect of the vehicle increased. Thus producing more HP/TRQ..ect and i know in some cases too much air free flowing is bad if the fuel system is not upgraded (FPR's, Injectors, and Fuel pumps) to keep up with all the air comming in and going out at a higher velocity. So consider this..

Now from the ads that Weapon-R run in magazines they've been Dyno'd to give Z24 2.4's around 11 HP so i go off of that estimate. Now when i had my olf weapon-R on my 2.2 i noticed a huge difference from stock as well as when i had my muffler instalelled. So here's the question what are your estimates for a HP rating on a 2.4 Z24 with..

Pacesetter 4-2-1 Header, 2 1/4"exhaust (w/ stock cat), and Dragunfire VEX-140 performance turbo muffler.

My guess was about 8hp (Maybe) for the Muffler... about 10-12 for the 2 1/4" exhaust and about 6-9 HP for the pacesetter header. These are just my rough estimates, they might be high or low.. But i think at least somewhat on target So If you have any information or knowlege (personal experiance) please feel free to post and give me some rough ideas here!

Stock: 150 HP (crank)
Weapon-R WAI: 11 HP (estimate)
Pacesetter 4-2-1 Header: 6-9 HP? (estimate)
2 1/4" catback (with stock cat): 10-12 HP? (estimate)
Dragun Fire Vex-140 turbo muffler: 8 HP? (estimate)

no, it doesn't really work like that.

they'll work together and help each-other out... my honest and humble guess is about 10-15hp overall.

i hope this helps

ROFL @ u Ryan.. Inno thats why i was guesing B/c I need to swap the motor before i get the exhaust done. that's a few months off. Just wanted to see what people saw if infact they had a 2.4 auto and Dyno'd it with similar mods. Poor Poor 2.4 motor. LOL stupid piston ring. I swear if i knew who owned this b4 me i'd strangle them!

sorry to let you down but at the absolute max those mods would give maybe 15hp.

Nah didnt let me down that post was a 1/2 thought post while i was at work. LOL I thought i finished my thought but i hadn't and when i read it later I was like.. Oh hell. LOL I expected about 15-20 HP throughtout all of those mods.. I just didnt finish my thought my Bad.

Basically I was just looking for some base numbers to kick around as to what i'll be laying down, then add my 50 shot of Nitrous (75 if i get the UG's to do it) on top of it.. again to just get a ball park figure what i'll run in the 1/4 .. before i'll have the chance to do so.

I just thankyou for your help on an idea of what to expect. 15 HP's good with me it's more HP and in some situations that's all you need.. others you need more. LOL
