i dont have them(yet :-)) but the belt is just two in shorter than the stocker...
Cavie Freak (The Hated One) wrote:oh yeha i also need the diagram of how the belt goes back on since gm sucks and the sticker fell off after 3 months of owning the car.
you can get that out of the chiltons repair manual(local parts place) or something like that... if you dont wanna buy it go to the library and make a copy...
I have a chiltons for 95-99 if its the same on the 2.2 from those years then that will work. Also yeah I know its 2 inches shorter but I dont trust the parts guys enough to tear it down change thema nd find out they sold me the wrong belt. Im going to be doint this install alone and will have no way of getting to the parts store without returning it back to stock and driveing back up there.

easier way, ask for the right belt for your car, it will have the lenght written on it, then just do the math easy
heres another pic.
Cavie Freak (The Hated One) wrote:Thanks man that helps out a lot. I think im going to take mine off before going up there and measureing it. Should i go along the outside or the inside.
shouldnt matter theres enough flex in the tensioner to compinsate for the 1/8in or so it will be off....
i have them and it is an ok mod. the crank pully isn't very heavy. you lighten it maybe .5 oz. they are smaller but the gains aren't really that great.
the belt is 610k6
/\ i agree with him..i put the pullys on and deleted the a/c and i didnt notice much at all

i got a gates belt ..are you using the a/c pump? if you are i think i might have a belt taying around..as long as the 2200 is the asme as the 2.2ohv
i thought i heard good things about the pullies? if they dont really do anything for you maybe i wont buy them, let us know what you think of them after you install them! im trying to figure out if cc is better then rsm's lightened crank pulley or vice versa.

ok i ran today and looked for a belt well the only thing i coudl find was a 86 1/4 belt the stock form what people at teh stores are saying is 89 5/8 or was it 86 5/8 and 89 1/4 i dunno but yeah 3 inches is way to short. So if anyone knows a brand and a number it woudl be great thanks. Also how the hell do u get off the damn alt pulley.

i have the U/D pullies, and i used mystock belt, the tensioner took up the salck.
all i really noticed was it reved quicker. but i also have a light weight fly wheel so i do go throught the gears more quickly. (but thats my 2 cents).

Thats what i was thinking I had the crank on and used the stock one on accident and it was jsut barely loose and that was without the bigger alt pulley
