why do you have that air box in there? you just cut your power gains in half, from installing that intake!!!

But anyways, clean engine bays rock. I'm waiting for the salt to disappear off of the roads before I give mine the full treatment.

looks alot better. get the valve cover polished---that looks hot
where can i get my valve cover polished i was thinking of geting it done anyways or can i do it myself and if so wut do i need ?
i have talked to RDFABS about it, waiting on a price....you should have gotten a intake that got rid of the "2200 black box" those suck
how'd you clean it? that's a HUGE difference, it looks great!
there is some stuff i use to clean my engine. It is calles Brown Bomber B-52. It is some seriuos cleaner-degreaser, and brightens aluminum. We clean all our used engines that leave the shop and they look new.
Whoa... I thought the first pic was your finished job, when I scrolled down, I was shocked.
Looks good man.
I know it's JUST a Cavalier, and I'm sorry if I hurt your ego.
I wouldn't get a new exhaust manifold.. Not a stock one anyways, it'll just rust in no time. If you're going to replace it, replace it with a header.

for my valve cover i used some ordinary engine degreaser then used some mothers mag polish, turned out pretty good. check the reg for pics
hey thanks i like how it came out i used simply green from auto zone. i wet the motor first then i sprayed the simple green on everything used the whole thing. then i let it sit for a few min then got my power washer and sprayed everything down with it. then let the car run for 10 min to let the motor dry yea and im geting a header after market bc im geting the whole exhaust done from the cat back 2.25 with a dual tip muffler so ill get a header. just got my clear lights for the side markers on the front looks so much better then the orange i left the clear bulbs waiting to get more money then im ordering the front round lights from a pontiac dealer for a 97 GT there clear mine are orange
