Anyone painted their valve covers?

Just looking for pics (mostly eco) of painted valve covers. I am planning on taking mine off and having it sandblasted and then powdercoated yellow. Please post any pics you have. Also does anyone know anyone that has a spare cover they would be willing to sell or trade?

why sand blast it, just save some $$$ by sanding it proper for prep then paint.

Yeah but both the sandblasting and the powdercoating are free for me.

I have a 2.4 valve cover and jus used high temp engine enamel. I painted it silver and it still looks good. I painted it about 2 years ago.

http://www.j-body.org/members/killercavi/cars/1/ had his powdercoated gloss black and I thought it came out real nice. Im sure if you email him he will get a pic for you.

How this is performance related is beyond me though.
