Ok i dont know if anyone has thought about this before but... Everyone talks about the 3800 Supercharged v-6 in the J's.... Why not take like one of the small Cadillac V-8 motors not the big ones but so small its almost a V-6..... That would be one hell of a car then.... Why wont it work?? Or will it??
some have talked about swapping in a Northstar engine. the engine itself would fit but the tranny wont

that doesnt change the fact that it will fit........as with any sort of swap of this magnitude, modifying/fabricating is necessary....
i ve seen a cavi with a v8, the guy chop the frame of and old caprice and put the body of a 98 cavi on it. it is sweet as heck to see a rear wheel drive cavi.
I'd like to eventually play around with a 350cid to drop in a cavy (rwd or course) do a 4link and back-half the car. maybe when this one is done

you know mkiii supras go pretty cheap....
inline 6, turbo, 5 speed and LSD and independent rear suspension... and to think I have one at my house right now!
imagine how surprised someone would be to see THAT under the hood...

4G63 from like 90-91 with awd tranny goes from pretty cheap
A guy comes into work, and is still in the process of building a 98 with a tube chasis and a 455 big block. He has the distributer in the dash board. Teh motor is in, just working out all the knick nacks. He's gonna drive it up so I can see it as naturally I struck a conversation with him. It is supposed to be semi street legal.
