Hey everyone. I was wondering what kind of exhaust to use for my cavy its a 2002 2200 with auto. I have been looking around but i can't deside which one to get. I want something with a deep rumbling sounds, what would ya'll recommend and if ya'll can put some pics of your exhaust set ups. thanks.

I would say get either a Flow Master muffler or a Magna Flow muffler (thats what i have and its fairly deep sounding) and a high flow cat. then go to an exhaust shop and tell them to bend you up a 2.5" cat back exhaust and weld it all on and then hook it up to you muffler. It will be half the cost of getting one thats already bent up from companys like RK sport, and Magna flow. Only difference is they mandrel bend the tubing... you wont notice any difference between mandrel and crush bent tubing except the price.

you will notice a difference in the two bends... but some of the shops have a mandral bender.... the pacesetter cat back is a good price at 180$ thats including the muffler...2.5 is too big unless your gonna go boost or turbo..

don't get crush bent piping... MOST shops have compression machines, i paid 140 for all my 2.25 compression bent stuff, i installed my header, drove it open header to the shop, about 2 miles. had them install my magnaflow muffler, and magnaflow cat....

Yea i guess compression bends would be better then crush... but for the amount of exhaust flow our engines make you wont notice a difference in performance with Mandrel bends V.S Compression... unless your running a turbo with like 10+psi. type thing.

I love my vibrant for the 2200. i found a couple of websites that have the cat back for $375. thats not bad for a prefabbed exhaust.

New sig in the works
