I know someone has made a thread about installing an A/F guage on an ecotec (03-05 cav)but i searched and turned up nothing...
i was just wondeing which wire to run the A/F signal into(where it is found,pics if possible)

on the right side of the engine, right next to/above the power steering unit, there's a bundle of wires running from rear to front. big bundle wrapped in one of those black plastic wire looms. the purple wire in there is the one you want, but test it first: with a multimeter, test AC voltage. it should be constantly fluctuating between about .100 and .300 volts at idle.
is that the same for the 2.4L?

not sure about the 2.4, but ya i tried to hook mine up at the sensor and had no luck. Used the one going into the ecu and that worked fine for me, purple wire should be upper left corner of the harness
