no its not, its CAST ALUMINUM, not cast iron, or any other cast.

I said it was cast and aluminum, therefore it's cast aluminum. Cast indicates method of manufacture, it has nothing too do with the material used.

wrong again... and i dont say i know everything and never will say i know everything, but i know alot more than some of the others around here and have been building engines longer than most of you. i'm sorry i simply assumed that when he said cast and alumium that he meant cast iron and cast aluminum lol
