Do they make a header for this engine that does not have any cutting welding or clamping to stock exhaust just a exact bolt in upgrade replacement? This car will not be a full blown race car. Just want a quicker than most stock cars on the street.)Just to have some fun with) Other basic low horse mods will come later this first is what i have decided on . If they make one that i think with suit me. Reliabilitly is a must though so now full race tips please. Thanks to those that respond

1.) Read the sticky at the top of this forum.

2.) Do a search, for "header". There are hundreds of posts on different headers.

To answer your question. No there isnt a header made that doesnt have to be welded. The stock Cat. is welded to the exhaust, so you either have to cut the stock cat. off the exhaust and have it welded to the new header or just have a new cat. put in. Although some of us have check engine light problems with after market cats. and some dont

your not going to void your warrenty. look up the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act. basically it says if you add a short throe shifter to your car and something goes wrong with your tranny then the dealership would have to prove that short shifter caused the problem

Ok then who makes a good quality one with a flex pipe on it i dont know if i want to put the better engine mounts on it ,cause of the extra vibrations. To those that have is it bad or hardly noticable now the ol lady uses this car alot and dont want her nagging that somethings is wrong when there is not if ya know what i mean.

The vibes are not that bad. I assume you already read the posts on the mounts though? You could get the rksport one but I dunno about the rk header. Pacesetter is good, but you don't wanna use their gasket and no flexpipe. I would buy the pacesetter ceramic coated and get a new oem gasket and you will be fine. It has a good tone, and seems like it gives some good gains. You will not be disappointed. Getting it welded will only cost a couple dollars also, just do not use that paper gasket, it sucks. Good luck
