Awesome! Are those the hybrid cams or JBP or what? Are you installing them yourself? If so I wanna know how hard it is to put them in.
It's the secret cams. And I will be installing them with help from the father. I'll let everyone know how the install goes.

Lucky SOB.
I invented the idea of sniffing your fingers when you've spilled gas on them.
OK yes I'm jealous

the secert cams arenot that great. you will notice it pulls harder in third. i have them and i am thinking of going to a more agressive cam. well anyway enjoy the cams
I don't need an agressive set of cams. I'm not looking to get the most out of my car as I can. They'll do what I need them to do. Since I'm an auto, I really need something that will help after the 1/8th mile and these will do fine
I'm sure I'll enjoy them

get a larger t/b a header and full catback, unless u allready have that, going by your profile, it just says u have a muffler. not full catback, i'm sure u open your exhaust system up and get a larger say 62mm t/b your car will pull alot harder.

It's all planned out Eddie
The only reason I'm doing these cams before the header and exhaust is because no one has ever dyno'd the secret cams, and I wanna do that. I'm gonna jump on the Pacesetter GP probably next week. Gettin a local shop to bend me some 2.5" piping. Then gonna dyno it again to see how that helped. And that'll probably be it until Winter.

Sweet. I wanna see that dyno for those cams. I've got my tools all set and ready to go tear apart that 2.3HO Achieva I saw in the junkyard today. Tell us how it feels.

The HO isnt where these cam's came from........ but you can swap the HO exhaust cam and tower in...... I have that and the 95 2.3 intake cam.
I had just the standered Hybrid cams (2.3 LO cams) in my 2.4...... I loved them with just minor bolt ons.

Yeah I have this "secret" cam swap as well and I love them. It kicks ass in all gears around 3000 rpm. In 3rd and 4th it feels like a turbo spooling up...just all of a sudden pulls like hell. That is what i noticed when I installed them last summer and it still pulls just as hard. They are easy to install, just have to take your time and verify the timing. Crank the motor by hand a few times before you go turning that key! Of course I also put my P&P head on at the same time as these cams, so that might have something to do with the strong pull around 3000rpm I get.

How does that run anyway? I have been trying to find someone who has run that combo on an NA car for a while. Just curious to see where the power is.
