I've noticed that going from my 2.4 grand am to my 04 Eco, that they share alot in common. The power steering still comes off the intake cam, tb is in the same spot, the ignition is basicly the same... What are the major differences? Does the water pump still run off the timing chain? I wonderd if you could stroke an eco with like a 2.4 crank or if the cams are close to the same.. they just look too close in design to not share some of the same parts.. Could be way off, just thought it woud be good info to have availble.

No it won't. You need a tranny from a 2.2 Eco
