Hey guys, first id like to say, i love how u guys represent the cav and sunfire. im sick of haters. anyway, to the real question.

I have a 1995 Pontiac Sunfire SE Coupe. It has the gay 2.2L bottom of the line engine in it. How easy is it to put in the 2.4L Twin Cam (DOHC)? I belive it is in some cavs, grand am's and grand prix's. If it would fit, would my stock tranny still fit? It yes to both of those questions........ anyone have a good condition, not too bad milage 2.4L Twin cam engine for sale?

thanks a bunch. i gotta know if i can get the 2.4L of if ill be better off with the ecotec. btw, how much horse are in those 2 engines?

LD9 is 150 hp
L61 is 140 hp

Don't that that fool ya tho. My wife has an 04 Sunfire with the Eco. Off the line I destroy her. Once she hits 3rd gear tho she pulls on me. She's bone stock.
