Hey, i was wondering what sort of engine management systems were out there for the ecotec engine? I have heard that AEM plans to make one. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

as it stands, nobody makes one that plugs right it. you can get any of the stand-alone systems and wire it in, but you have to configure all of the sensors yourself, plus do the wiring, which is a pretty daunting task for most people. those systems would include, but not limited to things like a motec, autronic, or aem's ems.

atm your best bet is probably the e-manage, it's not too pricey, offers a lot of control and expanability, and is fairly simple to wire right in.

Which is why Adam is hopefully going to help me install mine.

Yeah, i was looking to go the route of a standalone system. Supposivly AEM is comming out with some sort of a system. I found that a racing team is using it. Maybe they wired it up themselves but supposivly there coming out with one for the ecotec. The site is HERE.
