just wondering what the 0 to 60 mph is for a stock 04 cav is and what it is with intake and exaust mod?
About...8 seconds or so in an automatic?
well i have a 5 speed with short throw too besides the intake and exaust so i am just wondering what it might be
go out and time yourself. everycar will be different.
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
8 seconds sounds fast for a auto

you have to feed the little gerbil the Flammin Hot Cheeto's to do that
i'd say with an open differential and crap factory tires your probably looking at 8 seconds.
ha ha... 8 sec's??? I have a stock eco minus a cone filter and short throw, 8 sec for an auto?? damn i swear I can do it in at least 6.5 to low 7... i can almost get 60 out of second.. maybe i can, I havent taken it to the limiter in second yet... But if you could it would be signifacantly lower without haveing to go for 3rd right before..
And timing yourself will never be accurate. you need a g-tec or a well placed friend on the side of the road, with a stopwatch, and some kind of start-stop signal.

no way 6.5 on a stock eco with cone filter, and short throw. i have port polish secret cams and i doubt i can do it in 7.5, i might be lucky to hit 8 with a good launch
i have been in an eco and they are not that quick sorry i dont belive that one
ehh
they rev up there pretty fast
i need someone w/ a stopwatch to time me so i can get a guestimate
Yea, they seem a lot faster then they really are. I timed myself in an auto with just an intake and I was barely under 9 secs.
I love the way my car seems to launch when you shift it, if u look at the speedo when going from 1-2 or 2-3 it jumps like 5-8 mph when you let off the clutch alone. (when driving hard) thats before it reaches the sweet spot around 3500 rpm

hey todd how you liking you b&m shifter heard the nob weighs like 5 pounds ha ha.. bet it looks/shifts sweet though
they are advertised as 7.9 sec stock for an auto
04 sunfire auto, mid 15's n/a, and still going
yeah it does weight like 5 lbs... lol.. Isn't the b&m all aluminum?.. I have the e-bay short shifter, people will tell you it's crap cause it dosn't cost $150 like the b&m... BUT I LOVE IT.. it makes the car feel more positive, click my car domain link at the bottom to see the difference. works just as well as the b&m.

that is the same shifter i have too. and a guy i work with has the b&m shifter and i didnt feel a diffrence, to be honest the ebay shifter was alittler better coz of the weight of the shifter knobb gives it a better more controlled throw, that just my opinion
ebay shifteers are usually constructed out of aluminum all the way around
b&m has a stainless steel rod
all aluminum shifter doesnt weigh 5lbs either
i have my stock shifter on tho
looks sweet. my car does the same thing when you shift hard jumps a few mph. less now than before cause my clutch is now crap but I have a 2.4 not an eco
After I put on my CAI, I ran about 7.3 on stock tires (slightly worn) and a stock shifter.
Timing that is hard though and will NEVER be the same each time. There's so much that factors in in that, from how you shift to what extra weight you have in the car (re: trunk) and even how you hold your foot on the clutch could effect it.
