MOD chip do I really need it ? on my 2.4l twincam

I'm going trought some mods this spring and I was wandering if a mod chip would help or I would only need to unlock the engine ??

i'm changing the cam and throtle and I have full exhaust line already
plus i'm changing some more things but it wont change the performance much.

I'd would apreciat answers thank you

Whatever chip you found, its a scam. The OBD-2 computer is not chippable, and those stupid things that plug into your IAT are nothing but scams and can actually damage your engine.

There are no ECU upgrades for 3rd gen J's currently.
