does anyone have the hydraulic cam followers from mantapart for their 2.4? I was just wondering if the are worth the 480 $'s.

they are not worth it. Plus it's not worth it to wait the time it's going to take to get your parts. If you want "better" lifter, take off your cam housing and ask the machine shop to bore the lifter housing to 35mm and use the 2.3 lifter. If you ever need a "better" lifter than a 2.3 lifter, you'll be running over 8k rpm.

do what MFK said. 2.4L lifters are going to be twice the price of 2.3L lifters. I got a set for $250 last year, but I have not seen that price again. The 2.3L lifters (35mm) are a lot cheaper.

The mantapart lifters are basically stock replacements.
