For the last week i was wondering with my car. I was hearing a noise I though it was my wheels, then my brakes. Then i notice when i got in my engine the engine is moving when i rev thec car. I then i realize it was my lower engine mount, so I call up Karo (you the man) yesturday ordered a lower mount and got it to day next day which i paid extra for. (I already had a stiffer lower mount but for some reason the bushing got messed up) I have header so i get under there and tighten the down pipe bolts in case the movement made them come loose. i think everything is fine go a drive still the noise. I come home look over the suspension etc. i look in the engine all of sudeen look by the upper mount and the bolts that actually attach to the engine off the mount the three big bolts were completely loose on what just barely screwed in. Man i had to remove it and tighten those up which were a pain because the bolt is not is a good location to use a socket wrench and my wrenches with thte rachette ends were to fat so i had to use a regular wrench. Well long story short i may have had some damage from that.
Never occured to me to check those bolts. I guess over time and vibration may be due to the stiff lower mount those bolts worked their way loose.
So if you are doing any work just check them out to make sure they are not loose.

No torque wrench but beat having the bolts fall out. I tightend them down as much as i could. We had done them to spec when we did my cam swap 2 years ago.
