Has anyone bought the BOMZ intake on Ebay? How did you like the performance of this intake and fliter?
Anyone actually own a BOMZ on this org?
Alot of people own Bomz here, you should have done a search, its discussed almost every day. Bomz fit pretty well, and are equal to the aem and Injen intakes.
Fact 1:
“Facts are meaningless. You could use facts to prove anything that’s even remotely
true.
I had a bombz intake but the bracket broke, not a serious problem but I have a cosmo racing intake now and love it, Cosmo is pretty cheap as well there on ebay all the time.

Looks good PeruCav thanks for the pic. I did write to see what diameter the intake is and one said his was 2.5" and the other seller said his was 2.75". I like the way they look but don't like the smaller diameter.
Maybe I will check out the Cosmo, hope they are 3".
I will do a search also.
I.Ds are 2.75 across the board on ebay.
Same as the AEM piping.
Only 3" I.D.s are the 'S' $10 pipe intakes.
Same style as Vibrant's 2.4L intake they offer.

Remember....syringes go in the RED waste basket.
I have an old intake that I got on ebay that is 3" and it works good enough but it is dented in a few places and wanted to get another one so I can use my 3" cone filters with the new unit. Will check out Vibrant...
Dont mean to jack your post, but will a 2.4 intake fit an eco? Looks like it would.

Yes it will fit. You just have to take the bracket off that breaks off easily. Also the metal bracket for the throddle cables gets in the way so you have to fanaggle with that a bit. Otherwise it fits well.

i know everyone says an intake is an intake, but if you want a really good intake, don't buy bomz. if you're a perfectionist when it comes to mods, like i wish i could afford to be, you will be disappointed with the bomz intake. just look at the picture of tommyboys. i have the exact same one. see the weld lines? well they are like that on the inside too. not too big of a deal, but i'd imagine you might lose a horse or two considering a slightly smaller diameter and a little more turbulence.
just thought i would let you know, oh and there are other intakes on ebay for cheap that are not like that
^^ No..
I got mine put on today..it was kinda difficult as the intake wasnt designed for an ecotec however it works and fits fairly well
