Yeah, I don't like it that much, cuz here would be the process for tuning your car:

1. Buy the reflash, send them your computer. They send it back
2. Put it in your car...
3. @!#$, tune isn't right, need more/less timing, more/less fuel, etc
4. Go to step 1

You could spend months just through waiting in the mail sending the PCM back and forth. They make you send them the PCM because they desolder the chip from the board and change the values like that. There is only so many times that you can desolder the chip before you burn the board or break the pins.

I think its a 40 Pin EEPROM, but you can't daughter board it because its surface mount.

There is a way to put a socket on there so you can unclip the chip from the board, but you would still have to send them the chip and you would still be without an ECU for however long that took.

I've emailed them before. They'd prefer you to go out to their shop near Toronto because that $570 or so includes dyno tuning.

Yup, I agree completely. I think they'd be better off just selling the program, like HP Tuners is with the Grand Prix crowd, nobody is using the DHP stuff anymore either from what I read.

I live my life a 1/4 mile at a time and for those 15 seconds, I realize, I need boost.
