Ok guys, I don't know how many of you have tried to do this but I might as well ask. I have the older 2.2L in my 96 cavy and I'am disapointed with my limited modding options. So I was thinking that I could take the intake manifold and fuel rail off of a newer 2200 cavy and bolt it up to my cavy. Also, I would use the throttle body off of a 2.3. It would be a heck of a lot easier to swap injectors and put in a larger fuel rail if needed. Believe me I am no noobie, but the thought just popped into my head and decided to ask for some other peeps point of view before I put my car in for some down time. Would anyone know of any Hp gains If it was possible. I am going to dyno my car before and after the swap.
Come on guys I know one of ya'll have done this before.
