I got the Weapon R Secret Weapon intake ... that made a HUGE difference. More power, more sound, everything. I love this thing.
Next thing I got was a B&M Shiftplus. Stage II really kicks
What next? Are there any other cheaper priced mods? I heard grounding kits do a lot better. do better plugs & wires make a difference? what else is there? I know I can do the exhaust system, but don't know what else there is (besides breaks & suspension)
I'm thinking about doing the headers & catback exhaust, but don't know where to start. 4-2-1 ... 4-1... should I buy a catback system, or should I have a local exhaust shop make one for me and buy the muffler online ... which muffler to get... I don't really know much in this area and would like to learn more.
What is the the B&M shiftplus and wear did you buy it from? I have an 03 silver 4door and i want a more agressive shift. I also have an AEM cold air kit and that thing looks good, works good and sounds great. I was told that the pacesetter 4-1 was a really good header if you are looking for more power in the higher RPMS but i feel that the DC sports 4-2-1 is better if you are looking for more power in the lower gears. I am in the same boat dont know to much about good upgrades to the 2.2 but i am trying to learn along the way.
B&M Shiftplus 70380
the shiftplus is for us that have an automatic transmission. I got mine off ebay for pretty cheap ... pretty simple install, just 2 wires.
This thread will tell you all about it, how to install, pics, etc.

that's an example of what you're looking for.
it's pretty cool, you just mount the switch somewhere, and it has stage I, stage II, and off. Stage I is lighter, for everyday use, better than normal. Stage II is very agressive, and I personally wouldn't recommend it for daily use (though some people do!) ... i don't know if it harms anything if you do, it just feels too aggressive for me
it's a pretty fun easy mod. some people brag they can bark their tires shifting to 2nd ... i've done it once ... i have a slow ecotec lol..
thanks alot i have an auto also did 2nd ever feel bogged down to you
I would recomend a header and full exhaust -- I have a weapon R header, aem intake and a full custom exhaust and n20 -- the car really does take off and compared to stock now ---
hmm, I haven't even thought about adding a bottle...
what all is involved in installing a nitrous system? how expensive does it get?
yeah one decently cheap mod you can do is change your spark plug wires to 8.5mm. You might get a tiny bit of power, throttle response, you'll get a little better radio reception for some reason
and don't forget.. a little better gas mileage

Looked into the rksport spring inserts?
Click me biotch
Looks cool, but what do they do?? Does anyone have them and can give an opinion or more pics?
I wonder why for the Ecotec they have them listed minus the protection sleeves.

Remember....syringes go in the RED waste basket.

Ya know, I thought the same thing, I think in the catalog they list with the sleaves.. Maybe just the 2.4 sleeves.
