well, after boosting the car about a year ago i've decided to start modding the car again. just got my upper mount in the mail the other day and just placed my order for a b&m shifter. coming up in 2 weeks....rk sport crank pulley. all in all, i plan on dumping about $7,000 into the car. more updates to follow

I'm actually thinking about taking my crank pulley off and going back to stock. I think thats where alot of my vibration and engine noise is coming from. And my timing chain tensioner wont stop rattling. I just replaced it and now it rattles but just differently than before.

this is the first bad thing i've heard about the pulley. thanx for the input. i still think i'm going to give it a shot and see how it turns out.

so is the noise good or bad or is it just a annoying?
I got a crank pulley and didnt have any kind of harmonic difference

The noise doesnt hurt anything and im getting used to it. After I first rebuilt the engine for the first 1,000 miles every noise made me paranoid.

No problems with an underdrive pulley except for that fact that there is no harmonic damping which can cause increased bearing wear...which if it is a 2.4L do we really need another variable leading to increased rod/main bearing wear?
