you could get a cam blank and grind your own
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
i purchased my blank cam from gm and had it ground out custom at a shop, it didnt cost too much, but you can buy direct from gm or pretty much anyparts store.
^^Wanna tell me where you can get a blank cam??
I sent a stock cam into comp cams for a custom grind and only paid 130 total
Talk to Dave Maxwell at Crane Cams. You can send them youre blanks or your stck and have them ground for whatever your needs may be. Dave set me up with a good regrind on my stock cam. It only took one week and cost about $130, which is about the going rate for a regrind. Comp cams should have some good grinds also.
See Billy G's post above.
oh sorry, missed that somehow

now, wonder if you can angle the motor and remove the can through the wheel well instead of pulling the motor
^^That would be nice to be able to do, if I dont get a cam by the time I drop in my new motor

Thanx yall, I found that chet herbert racing in anihiem, CA will do grinds. thanx J lovers
depends on the rest of the engine... what else is done, what compression, auto or stick, what are you looking for in the engine (daily driver, race, auto-x) there are so many different variables when picking a cam its not even funny.

yea, its a daily car, with a header and fulle exhaust, intake, and ignition upgrade. a re worked head with new lifters, pushrods, rockers, ect. but stock compression and lower end
