Headers:
no one makes them.
You would have to have one custom made. Or the Stock 89-92 HO
Piece flows best. however, some of us are working on changing the manifold flange on 2.4 headers to make it work on the 2.3.

2.3 Ho
Unorthodox's crank pulley is listed for both the 2.4 and 2.3L applications, and you could always upgrade your intake manifold to the HO one. Also you could get a performance clutch pretty sure spec makes em. Think theres a short shifter available too if you drive stick.

Yes officer I knew the speed limit was 50
the header shown in the 2.3 section is one for a 2.4 not a 2.3.

2.3 Ho
what about an intake
all i did was custom make it but i want somethin better than that ne who
i like the web site exploited racing .com
also how much would it cost me to get new cams cam gears and a new belt . or would i jus be better off doinit my self like i did every thing else
I like the tubular 2.3 header/manifold, with a custom down pipe..... works pretty nice on my brother's 2.4 (swapped flanges)
Intake.... best bet is a piece of 3" pipe, and a nice filter.....

go in the chevy section and look for the 94 Z26 intake.
as for the tubular exhaust manifold, it's not good over 5500 rpm. maybe it's good for the 2.4 and 95 2.3 guy but if you go with bigger cams it's useless.
As for the cam gear and CHAIN, it's cheap. you don't need to change it unless you have alot of noise coming out of it. and most of the time it's the guide that are worn.

2.3 Ho
do they make an intake manifold for it?
oh and how much of a differnce do u think that a msd 6al ignition ,blaster 3 or 2 coil , new bosh platnum 4 plugs and new wires will do for me
Intake manifold? get the Ho manifold
Bosh +4? don't ever think about putting them in your 2.3. Buy Delco. Delco are good for almost anything you throw at them.
Plug wire? you don't have any. You have plugs boots
Why change the ignition? unless you need to play with the timing you don't need and ignition upgrade

2.3 Ho
Josh Gooding has 4 into 1 long headers for the 2.3 . See the pictures on www.quad4forum.com go to the 2.3 section, scoll down to "who what a quad 4 header. last page for pictures. He should be able to help you with the 95. 2.3 engine headers.
The header is for the L and N body, not the J.
Gilles
2.3 Ho
josh is currently working on a J header, the current style SHOULD fit the 2nd gens, but a different style had to be designed for the third gens.
He's a busy man, so it may take a while.
