Hey,
I'm also wondering the same thing! Will it really give an overall better start up/ignition firing etc, or whatever?...Anyone done this mod? See a difference. I searched the thread and didn't find much information on whether anyone actually noticed a difference!

well when i moved my battery to the trunk we used the equivilent of 0 or 00 gauge wire for the power and a couple pieces for the ground side. the car has started better ever since. havent paid much attention to light brightness though.

personally id make your own if you really want one

Well start up was easier for my car, and lights were a bit brighter, but i did notice that my gauges seemed more accurate. Why? dont know.

I am a big fan of better grounds as I get the @!#$ shocked out of me every time I get out of the car. I don't know if bad ground sis the cause, but I'm sure as hell gonna try it. Gets a bit scary when you can see a little blue spark at night sometimes after long drives sliding back and forth in the seat. I'm gonna get what they call "Stinger extension wire" from my local "Rural King". I think it's something like .25 a foot for I think it was 2 or bigger... But whatever.

You getting shocked when you step out of your car is static electricity. Nothing to do with how good your grounds are.

Import tunner gained 1 hp on their push for 200whp N/A integra. at like 38,400rpms

It's just now cutting it's teeth.

I remember in an older Import Tuner they did a 1st Gen DSM in the power pages. The grounding kit gave it like 5whp and 15lbs/ft of torque. I thought that was pretty damn good.

Ya, I installed a similar thing on my car and I didnt notice any gain in hp, but my engine definately starts faster, headlights are DEFINATELY brighter, stereo is a bit clearer and ya I also noticed my gauges seem to be more accurate, they dont seem to bounce around as much. I would def recommend it if you care about any of those things but dont buy it if u want more hp. cuz u aint gonna get any from this.

P.S. Make u'r own outta 4 gauge, its way cheaper.

you dont have to buy that kit to help your grounds, just go to a nearby electronics store or audio center and get either 4 or 6 gauge wire, some splicers, and some end terminal rings. adding that kit just makes a bigger mess of wires and you don't want that look you want a clean look, by getting your own wire you can hide the wires from site and still get a better ground. to include replace your existing wires ex: alternator, tranny, block, battery, fuse box, etc. If I could figure out how to load pics on this damn page I would take some and show them.
