i have a sunfire gt and i just installed a header and the exhaust shop cant work on it till 2:30 but i have some things to do will it hert my car to run open header for an hour or two

its really really loud till the car warms up, then it is just really loud. i ran open header once before just for a day after install, and i kind of crept up on some kid that was walking by, not purposely but just kind of happened that way, and when i got close to him, he wasn't paying attention because i was crossing the street talking to a friend, and i got right on the gas by him, and he jumped about 10 foot, and his face was priceless.
No harm to the car... just the enviroment. I'm not a tree-hugger but just dont like breathing in those fumes. Enjoy the loudness and hope you dont get pulled over
just cruise to the shop , but if you can try to keep the cat pipe in the down pipe , so try to help keep it quiter
you will also probally throw a code since your rear O2 sensor will be unhooked. But then again with it seeing fresh air it might not
