Where can I find the valve to order that AEM talks about that can almost totally prevent hydrolock from happening to my engine? I am planning on getting the AEM for my 2.2 ecotec and I was just curious are the gains much? and does it sound as well as a WAI?
its a bypass valve and you should read the faq i think.
I've read the fact...i've been here for like 3 years, i was just curious I have not had a CAI, my last car which was a 2200 sunfire had a Injen WAI...I have heard of problems with hydrolock occuring with an CAI and i've heard the bypass valve can almost completey prevent this from occuring but i need to know where to buy it from, I chekced AEM's site and i don't believe they had an online catalog or pricing.
also, another question, would it be worth the money for the bypass valve or is it a waste?
its a waste..you'd have to have the filter completly submerged in a puddle in order to have enough suction to get the water there.
