I know mostly everything about 2.2L OHV roller rockers has been beaten to death but has any one used aluninum roller rockers and not from Crane or Comp Cams. I know we need to use 1.6 Roller rockers with 3/8" stud. So does that mean we can try other rockers too. I was looking into some different ones other than the usual. Comments please.
you only need to get a 3/8 24 top stud if you are going to use ARP or comp cams perma locs. Remember base is still 10Mx1.0
You will need the narrow body rockers, other wise you will run into clearance issues. Even with the Crane(narrow body) rockers, I still had to grind a few thousandths off the breather baffles on the rocker cover.
