damn i didnt see that. thanks anyways looks like i'm going witht the pace 4-2-1 header
the pacesetter is actually a 4-1

Does it come with a free civic motor?? j/k
Tim
"Hey man is that a Cavalier?" "Yeah." What you got in it?" "It's stock." "Oh."
pace come in 4-2-1 also check out summitracing.com or spider proformance
pacesetter headers are absolutely crap, no offense to anyone who has one. if you want an excellent quality 4-2-1 header, DC Sports makes one. i have an OBX stainless steel 4-2-1 header on my 2.2 and i absolutely love it. standard 2.5" b pipe, bolts up to stock exhaust perfect.

and exactly how do you know they're crap did you ever have them on your car. and i dont wanna pay $300 for a DC sport header. and obx i dont trust alot of thing on ebay but i'm thinking they all do the same thing but i've heard wonderful remarks about the pacesetter and ther're the same price as the obx header.
i know plenty of people who put the pacesetter headers on. first off, the finish comes off within 10 minutes of running the car, second, the 4-2-1 headers flow 10 x better

actually no, i know several with the pacesetter header and they are doing just fine a 4-1 will give greater top end power , a 4-2-1 is slightly more restrictive giving more midrange but less top end

which ones would you recommend when using mostly for the track and other times when racing, 4-2-1 or 4-1
4-1

wouldnt the 4-2-1 help you more cuz of the take off and after you switch gears, i mean in a automatic not standerd

if you are an automatic, i would definitely say go with the 4-2-1

HA!
the painted pacesetter header finish IS SUPPOSED TO COME OFF!!!!
it's only painted to prevent rust while in the warehouse, IT'S NOT FOR SHOW!
if you want somethin purdy then purchase the ceramic coated header, whiner
ow3nd^^^
not to mention the 2.4 and eco come with quite a bit more low end power than most 4 bangers out there...... they all benifit better from freeing up some more upper rpm power...
i know in the case of both my eco powered cars they have problems hooking up at it is, and kinda fall on their face at the 3/4 mark in the 1/4.......
so actually adding a lil more power in upper rpm's would be a help... even if you dont gain anything in the tourqe department

i don't see the point of a header in your engine bay that looks like absolute crap, but hey whatever pacesetter wants to do.

first of all there are 2 kinds of header that Pacesetter has.
black steel header this one is the one that chips and the paint comes off
Ceramic header is the one where the finish dont come off due to the coating. i happen to have this one. still looks the same as the day i got it in the mail. and its been on for over 6 months
and a OBX is a copy of the pacesetter.
next time get your facts straight before you go say something
